City Invasion

Last Friday, me, Sarah, Criss, Irene, and Priscilla we went to the Old Town at Pasadena to do city invitation. So, before we start praying for people, we have to pray to let God revival some images or some specific kind of people we need to pray for. After the prayer, each of us wrote down some things on a paper. And there are library, books, princess, brown, Asian lady with a marriage issue, purple shirt, 21 years old lady, elephant toy and more. After reading through those random things God had reveal to us, we went out to find those things. But, then we decided we get into two groups so there won't be a lot of people praying for one person. Therefore, me, Irene and Priscilla a team, and Sarah and Criss a team. After splitting up, we start our journey.
We went to the book store first because I have saw a library and books. As we were walking around in the store, we saw a man who is wearing everything brown, and he is a black men too. So, I went up to him to ask from if he have any prayer request. But, he rejected it. So, we kept on looking around, then we saw a big elephant statue. And right next to it were an Asian dad and two of his daughters. So, I went up to him to ask if he want some prayers. But, he refused too. But, we didn't lose our hope, so we kept on walking around searching.
As we were walking pass the woman section, we saw a girl who is wearing purple and looking at a book about women. So, I went up to her and ask her if she need some prayers. And she was so happy and she said that she really wanted to find her soul mate. And after that I was like wow God, she is the one with the marriage issue. After I prayed for her, I start chatting with her, and also invited her to impact. And she was very looking forward to come to our church, and I was so happy. Then after that, we still kept on walking feeling more confident. Then we stopped by a table of dictionaries. As we were looking at those books, suddenly a girl wearing pink came over to look at those books too. And I really felt that God want me to pray for her even though she is not anything on our list. Also, I could sense that she is very sick. Therefore, I ask her if I can pray for her. Then that girl became so happy and surprised like no one has ever ask her that question before. And she said, " you want to pray for me? ok!" So, I ask her what does she want us to pray for her about. Then she said that she had missed chances between her and a guy she likes. And me and Priscilla and Irene look at each other with surprise because she's another one with the marriage issue.lol..After we had prayed for her, I ask her if she is sick. And she said that she had alleges because of the weather. So, we prayed for her alleges to be gone too. Then I welcomed her to come to our church, and she was so happy to come. Then Sarah and Criss came, and we left.
Throughout this fun experience, I felt so happy for praying for those people because you might never know if that person need your prayer that day. And just by a prayer, you can make their day! So, don't felt that doing city invasion is a shame or weird because praying for people is NEVER a false thing to do. Instead, it is a very great thing to do for everyone, and you may never know, you may save a person's life too. So, keep on praying for those people around you because they are God's children too.

Today, at church I was so happy and surprised that the girl wearing the purple shirt came to church today!!! Her name was Yin, and she is coming next week as well. Also, the girl wearing the pink who's name is Kate, had called and said that our prayer were very affective, and she want more!!! After hearing this, I was so shocked and excited because our prayer had helped her! WHHOOHOO!! :) JC ROCKS!!! lol... And we were still praying for Kate that she can believe in Christ! :)
